In the memory of Gilberte Blais 1926-20254

It is with deep sorrow that we announce the passing of Gilberte Blais which occurred at Bayview Center on, May 12, 2025 at the age of 98 years old.  Beloved wife of the late Raymond Lessard and daughter of  the Eugenie Lavallee and the late Emilio Blais.

Loving mother of Larry and Lynn (Michael Gilbert) and the late (Peter) and proud grandmother of Nicholas, Tyler, Felix, Hiromi and Misaki.  She also leaves behind her brother  Michel (Denise) and sister in law (Celine) .  She will also be fondly remembered by her many nieces and nephews.

The family would like to thank all of the staff at Bayview for the wonderful care she received in the last 6 years of her life.   As expressions of sympathy, please consider a memorial donations in Gilberte’s memory to the Alzheimer’s Society of Canada Support the People Who Give So Much

A memorial will be organized in July.
