It is with profound sadness that we announce the passing of Wendy Margot Millar Matheuszik in her 83rd year. Beloved wife of 62 years to Vern (Werner) Matheuszik, dearly loved and devoted mother to William, Jeffrey (Esther), Stephen (Uyen), and Gregory and a cherished Nana to Adrienne, Jesse, Kierra, Dylan, Laura, Rachel, Olivia, Liem and Doan. Wendy will be deeply missed by her extended family and friends.
Born in Drummondville, QC, to Robert Bruce Millar and K. Joan (Lyon) Millar, Wendy was the beloved eldest sister of William (Ingrid), Linda (Donald), and Deborah (Richard). She was an active member of her congregations, including Snowdon Baptist Church, West Island Baptist Church, and Westview Bible Church and a member of her community in the West Island of Montreal. Wendy moved to Ottawa in 2020.
The family extends heartfelt thanks to the staff at Foxview Retirement Community and to friends for their compassionate care and support.
Funeral Service
Friday, November 8th at 10:30 a.m. at Voluntas Commemoration, 4695, boul. St-Jean, Dollard-des-Ormeaux, Qc H8H 2A7 with reception to follow.
Donations in Wendy’s memory may be made to Welcome Hall Mission, 606 De Courcelle Street, Montreal, QC H4C 3L5 or to a charity of your choice.
