Those we love don’t go away ,
They walk beside us every day,
Unseen, Unheard , but always near .
Still loved , still missed and very dear .
Death leaves a heartache no one can heal ,
Love leaves a memory no one can steal .

Sleep well and be at peace u cake Jim

Met Seamus through a mutual friend and at that time he was doing some work for Standard Life about twenty five years ago. Over the years we developed a great friendship. Went golfing with him in Malone NY and that time he brought along Ursula and had a great time. Also, golfed with him here in Montreal. I will miss him and our great friendship. May he rest in peace.

When I think of Uncle Jim it brings back childhood memories of Sunday visits with your Mom. I would sit in the living room and chat with your parents. Those were happy times for everyone. That is the memory I hold onto when thinking about our parents. The happy times! The good times!
Please accept our heartfelt condolences. Thinking of you Laura, Derek and families.

I have known Seamus for over 50 years. Every encounter, every meeting with him was a pleasurable experience. The first time he walked into my law office, he looked and spoke like the actor Liam Neeson. This memory of him will remain with me for the rest of my life. I will sorely miss him and may his memory be a blessing.

Dear Jim, I always loved talking to you and appreciated your great sense of humour and listening to your Irish accent as you and Ursula would recount your trips back home. I will never forget the time that Laura said to me, “Alan can you do your impersonation of my dad for him”. I remember after you said that imitation is the sincerest form of flattery. I feel richer for having known you! Love Alan

I have known James for 20+ years on a professional basis and always enjoyed our lunches, telephone calls and meetings together.

I do understand at this stage of his life he was ready to go on to his next journey.

To all of his family, I know the loss of his physical appearance will be missed but the memories and his spirit will last forever.

Jim was a great father in law, he shared many great stories of his life in Ireland and was a lover of soccer. Every time we called he was usually watching soccer or reading the paper. Jim and Ursula raised my beautiful partner Laura….I know she was loved immensely. Jim was like a Dad to me and I will miss him. Xo. Rest In Peace.
