It is with the Heaviest of Hearts that we announce the sudden passing of our son Jason Power age 22 on July 29, 2019.

Predeceased by fiancé Kayla Landry Clark, Aunt Monica Holloway and Grandparents Ralph and Winnie Holloway and Grandparents Power.

Leaving to mourn and to celebrate his life are his parents Angela Power-Pretty and Roy Pretty with his little brother Roy and sister Jada. His grandmother Donna Holloway of Gander, NL and Leona Penney of Carbonear, NL.  His Grandparents Stella and Roy Pretty of Dildo, NL. His Aunt Jennifer, Aunt Shelly-Lynn (Ronnie) and Cousin Aydan Pretty and his Uncle Allan Pretty (Julie) Along with extended family and friends.

Jason (JJ) lost his beautiful fiancé on July 22, 2019 and the pain was too unbearable. Without his one true love he felt that his life was over and he took his own life so that he could be with his true love forever.  This is a heartbreaking love story. Jason loved Newfoundland and his Jiggs dinner. He loved fishing and going on ATV and enjoyed playing his Xbox. He got his license last February which he was so proud of and purchased his first car a Honda Accord which was his most prized possession.

Jason (JJ) will be sadly missed by all his family and friends and I will miss him saying “Mudder what are you making for supper?” “Fadder can you help me fix my car?”  Mom loves you so much. Xxxooo

Cremation will taking place and a memorial service will be held in Montreal and Newfoundland at a later date.
