Rosina Mary Beryl Ste-Marie (née Delorey), 78 years of age, passed away on October 11th, 2019 in Pierrefonds, Quebec, surrounded by many of her loving family members.

Funeral services will be held at Voluntas commemoration, 4695 St-Jean Blvd, DDO on Saturday, October 19th, 2019. Visitation in the presence of her urn will commence at 1:00 pm, followed by a chapel service beginning at 2 pm. A small reception will follow.

Rosina was born October 25th, 1940, in Minto, New Brunswick to Michael Delorey and Margaret Watkins. She married Côme Ste-Marie on December 27th, 1958 in Minto, New Brunswick and they recently celebrated their 60th wedding anniversary with all their children, daughters and sons-in-law, grandchildren and great-grandchildren in attendance.

Rosina is preceded in death by her parents (Michael and Margaret), as well as her brothers (Thomas, Ronald, Daniel, and Harold) and sisters (Audrey and Marilyn).

Rosina is survived by her husband Côme, her siblings David (Marie), Ruth, and Marlane (Larry), her children David (Manon), Côme, Deborah (John), Diane (Steve), and Réal (Valerie), as well as her 12 grandchildren and 7 great-grandchildren (with one on the way). While all of us are deeply saddened by her too-soon departure, on this Thanksgiving weekend, we give thanks for how she enriched our lives and nourished our souls. We are truly grateful to have been touched by one so beautiful and loving.

Memorials may be written on the voluntas.ca. In lieu of flowers, the family asks that donations be made to any one of the following organizations: Lakeshore General Hospital, Canadian Cancer Society, Heart and Stroke Foundation.

The Ste-Marie family wishes to extend their sincere thanks to the doctors and nurses of the Lakeshore General Hospital who were so caring and attentive to her health needs in recent years.

I have many fond memories of dinner table at the Ste-Marie residence and will always appreciate the love and support she gave over the years. She will be deeply missed.

My heart is heavy with this news. Aunt Rosina was such a loveable woman…she gave the best hugs, was such a good listener and had a wonderful sense of humour, I can hear her little laugh. She was so proud of all her children and kept me up to date on their lives. I am so grateful for the times we would get together in Montreal. We had such fun and I will miss her so very much. Hugs and love to you all xo

Dear Diane, I am so sorry for your loss. The loss of a parent, regardless of our age, is profound. I did not have the pleasure of meeting your mother but I had the delight of working with you and she must have been a great lady as she has a wonderful daughter who I have no doubt she was most proud of. Please accept my heartfelt condolences for the loss of your mother and the loss for your family.
