It is with profound sadness that we announce the sudden passing of Claudette Sabourin on November 1, 2024, at the age of 76.
Claudette was predeceased by her loving partner Raymond Sénéchal.
Beloved sister, aunt, and friend, Claudette leaves to mourn her eleven siblings and their partners, as well as beloved nieces, nephews, and aunts.
Claudette was born in Montreal and lived briefly in Manitoba. She had a long and varied career at Shell Canada and was appointed employee ombudsman after her retirement.
Claudette enjoyed life to the fullest. In earlier years, she was a ski patroller and taught many of her nieces and nephews how to ski. She travelled extensively throughout her life. Golf was also a passion, playing her last game with her brother Guy only two weeks prior to passing. She loved reading, dancing, good food, good wine, and her infectious laugh could be heard at any gathering. Her famous Caesar salad will be greatly missed by all. Claudette was loyal, dependable and always ready to help family and friends.
