Passed away in Pointe-Claire on June 14, 2019. Wife of the late Karl Steininger, she leaves to mourn her son Robert (Anh), her grandchildren Aramis, Darby and Ethan as well as other family members and friends.
Maria Luise will be remembered for an effervescent, lively personality and her elegance. She strove to make the world a kinder, gentler place and was very generous with her time volunteering in a variety of ways to help others in need. Those that know her best will never forget her warmth and a contagious laugh.
Family will celebrate her memory and receive condolences at Voluntas (4695, boul. St-Jean, Dollard-des-Ormeaux (Qc) H9H 2A7) on Thursday June 20, 2019 from 2:00 to 5:00 p.m.

While we only spent time with your mom on a few occasions, I remember her warm smile, good nature and open attitude, all of which she gave to you. If one measure of a mother’s success is how her kids turn out, she must’ve felt very satisfied with her job well done. I hope that in time her memories will bring you peace.
