It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Mrs. Joan Elizabeth Steszyn (nee Robertson) on December 12, 2025 at the age of 86.
She joins in eternal rest her beloved husband Taras Steszyn and her best friend and sister Linda.
Devoted mother of Ron (Gail) and Lynn (Jack). Loving grandmother of Laura, Bryan, Shane and Graham, affectionate cousin of Ina and loving special friend of Marcello.
Joan will be fondly remembered as well by many other family member and friends.
The family will receive condolences at Voluntas Funeral Home, 4695 St-Jean Blvd., Dollard-des-Ormeaux, Qc H9H 2A7 on Monday, January 5, 2026 as of 12 p.m. followed by a life celebration at 2 pm.
In lieu of flowers, a donation made in her memory to the Heart & Stroke Foundation would be greatly appreciated.

Joan was an amazing woman, and was my Montreal mother after my own mother moved us to Vermont. My condolences to the family.
