It is with sadness we announce the death of Margaret Vivienne Turnbull Lister on Saturday, April 19, 2025, at the Persaud  Senior’s Residence in Pierrefonds. Our Mum  passed away gently into the night. She is now reunited with her beloved husband Ray, whom she cherished, loved and admired. Born November 26, 1932, in England, she survived World War ll and a horrific train wreck that killed many people, all that before the age of 18. She journeyed from the UK to Quebec City by boat and crossed Canada by train to Edmonton, where she met up with Ray, they married, and started a family. Mum and Dad left Alberta and moved to Montreal, their final destination. They would go back to England every so often to see and visit family.

Vivienne is survived by her three children: Stephen (Wendy), Karen, David (Sonja), her four grandchildren: Cheryl (Phil), Daniel (Karine), Courtney and Julia and her two great-grandchildren: Xander and Alice: her brother Keith (Jean), her goddaughter Nikki and countless nephews, nieces and dear family friends.
