It is with deep sadness that we announce the passing of Kenneth Lloyd Watson on December 10, 2019 at the age of 76. He leaves behind his beloved wife, Simone, of 54 years, his loving children, Kevin and Kimberley (Michael Garellek), his cherished grandchildren, Melina, Jacob, Hailley and Joshua, his sister-in-law Jean Watson and many nieces and nephews. Ken will also be missed by lifelong friends, Peter and Jerry Farandatos and close friends, Maritza Benedek, Barbara and Rudy Glavicich. Ken was predeceased by his parents, Myrtle and Harvey Watson, his brothers, Eddy (the late Kathleen) and Ross (Jean).
Special thanks to doctor Rayan Kaedbey, oncology pivot nurse Josie El-Kahi, the staff of the Lakeshore General Hospital, the wonderful caring staff of the West Island Palliative Care Residence, CLSC nurse Sara Bélanger and NOVA nurse Carole Beluse.
A memorial service will take place at Voluntas (4695, boul. St-Jean, Dollard-des-Ormeaux (Qc) H9H 2A7) on Saturday, 11 January 2020 at 1:30 p.m. If you so desire, in lieu of flowers, donations may be made to West Island Palliative Care Residence.
