WILDING SWEENEY, Lena

Lena Sweeney Wilding passed away peacefully on Jan 4th, 2025 at the age of 103.

Lena was born in Glasgow Scotland to Irish parents. She never lost her endearing Scottish accent. Predeceased by her husband of many years Kenneth Wilding.  She was so loved by her children the  late Carol Anne, Patricia, Denise and Ken who was like a son to her.  Her cherished grandchildren Andrea Elias (Mike Hitelman) Christopher Wilding and her adored great grandchild Noah Hitelman.

She was adored and we will miss her dearly.

Visitation will take place at Voluntas Funeral Home 4695 St-Jean Blvd., Dollard-des-Ormeaux, Qc H9H 2A7, on Sunday, January 12, 2025 from 12 p.m. to 3:30 p.m., followed by a ceremony to commemorate Lena’s life at 3:30 p.m.

In lieu of flowers, donations to the Alzheimer’s society or Baluchon Alzheimers who on several occasions provided phenomenal respite care.  Let’s find a cure for this terrible disease.
