It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Virginia Alfonsi (née Lamonaca) on August 8th 2019.
She is survived by her 2 sons Pio (Diane) and Giacomo (Milay), 5 grandsons and 8 great-grandchildren. Virginia was predeceased by her husband Ignazio as well as 2 sisters and a brother and is survived by a brother Alfonso.
Virginia was a loving mother who had a strong faith in God and took great pride in taking care of her family and friends.
Visitation will be held on Sunday, August 11, 2019, from 3:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. at Voluntas Commemoration, 4695 St-Jean Blvd, in DDO, H9H 2A7. Funeral service will be held on Monday morning at 10:00 a.m. at the same address. Interment will be held at Côte des Neiges cemetery, 4601 Côte-des-Neiges, Montréal (Qc) H3V 1E7.
The family wishes to thank the wonderful caring personnel at CHSLD Foyer Dorval and at the Lakeshore General Hospital (4th Floor).
