Thomas James Gosnell, 93, passed away peacefully on July 7, 2025, at St-Anne’s Hospital in Ste-Anne-de-Bellvue, with his loving partner, Evelyn Theberge Paris, and daughter Nancy at his side.
Born on December 8, 1931, in Montreal, Tom was known for his many outdoors pursuits and his deep love of skiing, especially cherished moments spent on the slopes with his family.
He is survived by his partner Evelyn Paris, former wife Ann Gosnell, and their four children: Thomas (Esther) Gosnell, Garry (Joyce) Gosnell, Wendy (Roy) Gosnell Long, and Nancy (Dan) Gosnell. He was blessed with 9 grandchildren: Troy, Jordan, Jeremy, Chloe, Maude, Jack, Ryan, James, and Charles.
A visitation for Tom’s life will be held on Wednesday, July 16, 2025, from 7 p.m. to 9 p.m. at Voluntas Commémoration inc., 4695 Boul. St-Jean, Dollard-des-Ormeaux, Qc H9H 2A7. A short service will be held at 8 p.m.
In lieu of flowers, donations in Tom’s memory can be made to the Heart and Stroke Foundation or Diabetes Canada.
He lived a long and full life and leaves behind a cherished partner and a family who will carry his memory forever.
