HAMAOUI, Thérèse (née HOSNY) 1949 – 2020 Thérèse passed away peacefully at the Lakeshore General Hospital, on January 20, 2020 on her 71st birthday. She was born in Alexandria, Egypt to the late Youssef and Rose (née Kaplo) Hosny. She will be deeply missed by her loving husband of 42 years Sami Hamaoui, her son Karl (Lara) and her daughter Nadine (Paul). Beloved grandmother to Samuel, Sofia, Gabriel, Alexandra and Karina. She is survived by her dear sisters Doreen (late Karim), Marcelle (late Michel), Renée and Liliane, her brother in-law Jean (late sister Nadia) and her many nieces and nephews.

The family will receive condolences at Voluntas Funeral Services, 4695 boul. St-Jean, Dollard-des-Ormeaux, Quebec, H9H 2A7, on Monday January 27th from 2-5 p.m. and 7-9 p.m. The funeral service will be held at Notre-Dame-de-l’Annonciation Church, 9501 boul. Gouin West, Pierrefonds, Quebec, H8Y 1T7, on Tuesday January 28th at 11 a.m., followed by the burial at le Jardin du Souvenir – St-Joachim, 400 boul. St-Jean, Pointe-Claire. In lieu of flowers, donations in her memory to the Lakeshore General Hospital Foundation would be greatly appreciated.
