It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Jose beloved husband of Norma, loving father of Jose (Nadia), Paola (Sylvestre) and Bruno (Emeline) and proud nonno of Emily, Daphné, Mateo, Luca, Pia, Emmanuel and Alexandre.
Jose lived his life with profound kindness, integrity and humility. Throughout his life he dedicated himself to his family and friends, in which his loving and gentle spirit will live on. His passion for astronomy and engineering infused his daily life – there was nothing he could not build or fix. He loved music, poetry, literature and had a sharp dry sense of humour. He will be deeply missed by all those who had the honour of knowing him, incluydendo su querida familia en Chile.

In lieu of flowers, donations to the Montreal Neurological Institute and Hospital would be appreciated.
Due to COVID restrictions, a celebration of his life will be held at a later date.
