Marion Laura Knott Tarakjian, 65, passed away peacefully at the Teresa Dellar Palliative Care Residence on December 15, 2025, surrounded by her closest friends and family. Marion will always be remembered for her kindness, her creativity, her unparalleled baking recipes, and her unrelenting capability to love, take care of, and cherish those whom she cared for the most. She was the very best mother to her children Trevor (Juliana), Evan (Catherine), and Alex (Jessica), wife to her husband Sharkie, grandmother to Owen and Remy, sister, daughter and aunt to her immediate family, and best friend to anyone else who fell in love with her warm, welcoming embrace.
Our family would like to extend a deep appreciation to the staff, doctors, and nurses of both the Teresa Dellar Palliative Care Residence as well as the Jewish General Hospital, in addition to the CNR team of the latter, as Marion was taken care of each step of the way with the utmost respect and professionalism. As such, in lieu of flowers, the family would greatly appreciate and prefer that donations be sent to either institution.
A celebration of life will be held Voluntas Funeral Home, 4695 St-Jean, Dollard-des-Ormeaux, on Saturday, December 20, 2025, from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. with tributes and eulogies at 3 p.m.
