PALMER, James
- 26 octobre 2025
It is with great sadness to announce the passing of James (Jamie)Palmer, who died on October 26th, 2025 at the age of 65, after a courageous battle with cancer.
He will be dearly missed by his loving wife, Lisa and children, Amanda (Garth) Ryan, Hailey and his cherished grandchildren, Harper and Sawyer. Jamie is predeceased by his beloved daughter Megan Allen-Palmer. He is also lovingly remembered by his brother Alan (Lissa), niece Liz, nephew Jamie, as well as extended family, friends and neighbours.
Jamie valued his family and friends, was always ready to lend a helping hand, and he always had an open-door policy to everyone at any time or for a good party, game night or anything to have a cold beer. He was always so full of life, talking to everyone, positive, funny and an awesome cook. Even camping food was always a priority and source of pride. Jamie was a great storyteller; his adventures were above and beyond incredible and hysterical. His love and knowledge for travel, adventure and nature always amazed me.
Jamie’s journey ended short, but he had a hell of a ride. He always told me that he had no regrets and had a great life, and since meeting me, his wife, the last 22 years have been the best.
In lieu of flowers, please donate to the Lakeshore Oncology department or the Teresa Dellar palliative care residence.
