PHILLIPS, Andrew Nigel

With heavy hearts and deep gratitude for a life well-lived, we announce the passing of Andrew Nigel Phillips, who died peacefully on November 21st with his family by his side.

Andrew was the beloved husband of Maggie; loving brother to Sian; devoted father to Jessica, David and his wife Jodie; and proud grandfather to Kye and Luke. His family was his greatest joy, and he carried an unwavering love and humour that shaped every room he walked into.

A gifted golf professional with a long and respected career at Elm Ridge Country Club, Andrew left a lasting mark on countless players and colleagues. He was known not only for his skill, but for his passion for teaching golf, mentoring new pros, and sharing his deep love of the game with anyone lucky enough to cross his path.

Outside of golf, Andrew enjoyed squash, never missed an episode of Coronation Street, and was always ready with a clever joke or perfectly timed one-liner. His wit, warmth, and easy charm made him loved by many and unforgettable to all.

Andrew lived a life full of laughter, heart, and generosity. He will be deeply missed and forever loved.

In lieu of flowers, the family is raising donations in honour of Andrew for the exceptional care he received at The Teresa Dellar Palliative Care Residence.
