Mamdouh Wassef, passed away peacefully, on Monday, March 2nd, 2026 in Pointe Claire, Canada, after a short battle with illness.
Oral and maxillofacial surgeon, Mamdouh will be greatly missed by his family and friends.
Beloved husband of 52 years of his dearest Dr. Sonia Khalil, loving father of Mireille (Rami Amin) Magued and Magui (Fredy Guindi), and cherished grandfather of Marc, Tasha, Christophe, Sophia and Isabella.
Mamdouh is predeceased by his parents Kelada and Hekmat in Egypt, and survived by his cherished brothers, Magdi (France) Momtaz (Nabila) and Mokhtar (Hoda). He will be missed by his nieces and nephews: Annie, Hanny, Nancy, Mary, Karim, Bassem and Karen Wassef.
He was a great father, husband and will be truly missed by the many whose lives he impacted in Egypt and all over the world.
The family will be receiving the condolences at St. Peter and St. Paul Coptic Orthodox Church on Tuesday, March 3rd, 2026 from 7:00 to 8:00 PM.
A Funeral liturgy will be held at St. Peter and St. Paul Coptic Orthodox Church, Canada on Wednesday, March 4th at 11:00 am.
